We have been asked a lot about the shield of our All Angels Logo and what it represents. Listen to Chapter Two of the story on our instagram or read on to find out all about the stripes.

**How our shield earned it’s stripes**
Below the outline of the Church Farm roof, there is a series of stripes representing the All Angels vineyards.
We have 3 vineyards in total, each is south facing and on gentle slopes of 6 to 7 degrees. At the highest point we are only 120m and our soil is a wonderful combination of sandy loam over green sand with good deposits of gravel and flint, ideal for warming the soil and at the same time allowing for free drainage. Importantly, we have a layer of clay that helps to both retain the water and the nutrients. Much further down there are chalk aquifers
We will NEVER include any grape in our wine that we have not grown ourselves. All Angels wines are a reflection of our land and ecosystem and the sustainable way in which we treat the land. Through walking and working the vineyards ourselves, we know exactly what has happened to each grape in our Sparkling Wines from the day the vine was planted to the day the bottle is opened.
As with our wines, there’s more to come on our Shield. Watch out here or on instagram for our description of the next element.🍾
